Steam has the workshop and appears to be patched to the latest version. On the other hand, the GOG version is DRM free. What to do?

I think it's the same for any version of this game.

edit: Here's how it works in GOG version:
1. Download the mod
2. Run the game and click on mods icon (big M)
3. Select "Install from ZIP" from Mods menu
4. Point it to where you downloaded the mod
5. Select .zip file and click "open" and that's it!

Once installed you'll find your mods under "My mods" in Mods menu

Seems like the only option is now Steam workshop, you can use Steam Workshop Downloader, if you don't use Steam - https://steamworkshopdownloader.io/

This requires a Steam login with an account that has Forager, so: In other words... There's no way to mod the GOG game anymore unless someone with the game reuploads these files somewhere.
