I got this game on Steam, and I found out that the game incorrectly plays the same music track (9.mp3) on every level. I would like to buy this game on GOG if the music is working correctly on it, but I believe that the Steam version is in fact the same exact version as on GOG (it actually has some GOG files in it).

Could someone owning the game on GOG confirm wherever the music plays correctly on it?

I managed to get the music working on the Steam version by using the _inmm.dll wrapper. I'm pretty sure the Steam version is from GOG, so the music is broken on the GOG version too.

I created a guide on Steam about how to patch the game with the _inmm.dll wrapper, and it should work with the GOG version too.

The ogg-winmm wrapper may work with the game too, but I haven't tried it yet.

Indeed, track 9 plays in the first level of the GOG version as well. Too bad that the procedure for setting up the _inmm.dll wrapper is so awkward, even with your preparations. I had to use the same method in case of Metal Fatigue and doing this once was enough.

The problem should be now resolved.

NoxTM: Is this a GOG 'exclusive' that the team themselves fixed, or did this fix come from outside?
I guess we can call it an 'in-house' fix ;)

Thanks for this, and best of luck in doing whatever other fixes you can. :) If you could look through http://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_games_missing_expansions_importantdefinitive_versions_and_informative_bonus_content and make whatever fixes you can (such as, perhaps, uncompressing more audio files), I'm sure fans would appreciate it. :)
