Is this the uncensored version of Death End Re;Quest 2? The one where they reversed the censorship based on the fan poll results on IF's website?

Yes it is. All pc versions (and the recent switch version) have been de-censored.

I have already 100%'d DERQ 2 on steam but if you want i could load my saves with the gog version (which i bought for preservation purposes) and post a couple screenshots here.

This was for the Steam version, but the screenshots here on GOG show the censored versions of the costumes (though this is all from the new characters). The control scheme on the bottom right shows PC controls too, so I am pretty confused.

Is there any indication on the store page or the devs that this is the decensored version on GOG? There aren't any screenshots for the costumes from the Death End Re;Quest 1 characters' Glitch costumes.

There is no 'censored' version of the DERQ2 new character costumes, because there is only the one version of the costumes. If you've heard otherwise, its misinformation.

The returning characters from DERQ1 had their original costumes ported into 2 after a poll if people wanted to use the 'new' costumes they were given, or go back to the old ones.

Yes the new characters had their costumes already designed with the censorship in mind to meet guidelines, and so were not "decensored" even with the decensored version.

I mentioned them because there were no screenshots or proof that this is the decensored version because the GOG store page did not show any of the original characters, so I couldn't tell if they did release the decensored version here or if this was the censored one.

In any case, thanks for the discussion and Hikage1983 for the answer.

According to the screenshots I've seen, that is not accurate at all.

Rather, the alleged "old costumes" were deliberately drawn differently in DERQ 2, in order to censor them, and IFI's claim that they were going to de-censor the PC version turns out to have been false (unless the many people who claim that to be so on the internet are all lying).

For example, there are screenshots in this thread on reddit that demonstrate some examples of the censorship that is apparently still present on the PC version and always will be:

Perhaps if you had done proper research instead of just parroting outdated reddit posts, your life would be easier.
By proper research, i mean that Celica's and Lucile's Glitch outfits were indeed bugged at launch but were later fixed via official patch. Source: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1266220?updates=true&emclan=103582791467482968&emgid=2881695680517539643

I also took the liberty to load my steam saves with the gog version and take some screenshots. See attached.
