It's kind of a ripoff for GOG to be 100% more expensive than steam, shouldn't the price be the same?

the price politics here are weird.

several games are way too expensive than somewhere else.

the saboteur costs almost 20€ here at gog and can be bought at origin for about 5€.

Some EA games are more expensive in the US than in the Europe, 20€(20$) is the US price.

This. Dead Space is an EA game and is regularly on sale on Origin in Australia for $2.49 (reduced from $9.99), yet here it's on sale for $7.49 (reduced from $29.99). I can only imagine that it's part of GOG's deal with EA that they have to offer the game at a certain minimum full price and minimum sale price.

steam should be cheaper since you're really just leasing the game if you get it from them, on here it's yours, i think this is a reason there is a price difference.

Possibly. Without 'inside' perspective we can only speculate, and while I understand that people are not happy with some pricing... It's important to remember that could not be GOG fault.
