the way the game currently works means, that crafting any bad or mediocre item will make runs worse by diluting your rng pool with "bad" items.
this gets more of an issue, when u start upgrading your items.

so everytime u craft an item, u might screw yourself over a lot.
variety is fun and i want variety, but it should be encouraged to unlock stuff and not be a downfall.

i don't know a perfect solution to this problem, but in my opinion something needs to be done to adress this.

currently people are using 2 savegames to work around this issue, or they try to avoid crafting things, that don't sound strong or fun in the first place with having only 1 savegame.

maybe the whole system would need to get changed from crafting to auto unlocking things with the first craft u do on the items being a buff instead of crafting them into your rng pool, i'm not sure.
