I am experiencing that bug in which the eggs hatch right when KArkinos gets up, and even when I hit her in the legs it she does not turn over. I tried changing resolutions and all. It has been several years already and there is no fix for those bugs which were already there upon release. I don't know what to do.

I replied to you in the other topic because I didn't see this one first. I didn't experience the bug in the Karkinos fight, but I've heard that it might be due to a problem with the boss' hitbox. Some people have reported having success throwing the eggs into her face. Technically, though, you're supposed to throw the eggs into her backside, between her back legs.

Actually I managed to deal with it yesterday. The stars aligned and I managed to hit her. However there are two issues, one which is a bug and the other is part of it. The hitbox is messed, the taget are the legs, any of them, but it seems to randomly decide whn you hit the legs and when you did not. The second issue, which is a bug, the eggs hatch right when it stands up or before, in a normal console playthorugh the eggs hatch a little while after it stands up so you can hit it from the front side too. The problem is that possibly the timer for the eggs is not well sinchronized with the rest of the battle.
Glad you got past it. I've never hit her in the legs. I always assumed I had to throw the eggs against her butt. Every time I hit her there while she was stuck against the wall, she flipped over and exposed her underbelly.

As for the timing issue, when the eggs would break, I would simply wait for her to pin herself against the wall and try again.

The timing will vary between playthrough according to what I read. There are other bugs I heard of as well. There is a bug where she will not come out of the ground after she buries herself, making her invincible.
As far as i know, this is not a bug. You have to hit her in the back. Also, you have to be very fast to do this.

I spent hours to defeat this bitch.

I read there is supposedly a delay between the egg hatching and Karkinos geting up. And no, it is not the back, the target are the legs, but the hitbox sucks. I managed to kill it already but it took me days.
You have to be quick. When Karkinos gets up, eggs hatch. Not a bug, as intended. You have to be quick, grab the egg, roll it a little bit forward, target the up-side down Karkinos, and middle-mouse-button fire that egg right on him. Then attack him. Very tricky, needs terribly precise timing, very big annoyance. Doable, though.

If that is the case it was not very well planned.

If the egg doesn't hit him, it was too far away from him when you fired it, your targeting was a little off, a hatched crab from before might have hit you while you tried to hurl the stone, etc. You have many hindrances during that fight. When he charges towards you, though, try to run to the exact opposite end of the screen, because there is where the stones spawn. Beginning to run to there just the moment he begins charging, is key in preserving you enough time to do the positioning, targeting and stone hurling later.

Also, remember to pick up his maul loot drop. It is a great item that will get you far, it hits heavily enemies.

Don't worry, I already dealt with it a few months ago. I found the maul rather slow, I prefer fists and armblades.
