You know, this is why I prefer to buy from GOG rather than steam now.

And now I'm in regret of not buying it from GOG when it was released here.


On the bright side, thank you Nordic for showing love for the fans (maybe not so much for those on steam) and taking the time to remaster the game.

Looks like I'm going to wait it out for a steeper discount on GOG and then do what I should have done all along, buy it here.

Can we transfer our save file from Darksiders 2 to Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition if we want to play this updated version instead? I'm in the middle of Darksiders 2 and would obviously rather not start over. If we can, would anyone mind explaining how?

It seems to use the exact same save files as basic DS2, located in your "My Games\Darksiders 2" folder.

...I just thought my day would be ruined because my 2 week-old savegame of another game just broke (srsly almost cried), but then I checked my emails and saw the gog mail... and I was like (O_O)

WOW. Thank you sooo much for this free upgrade! I've never seen any game company doing this for their customers, you guys are great! :D Much of my pain is healed now thanks to you T_T

Although I didn't get to play Darksiders 2 yet, I will definitvely install this new version as soon as I'm done with the first game.

I have Darksiders II in my library but when i go to Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition page it gives only 20 % discount only. How can i get 80% discount.

It seems you'll find a discount code in your Darksiders 2 page (in your library). I read that somewhere, but I don't remember where.

I don't have the 80% discount code in my library list either and when I add the game to the cart, it's only 20% discount.

No discount code either, I own Darksiders II, but the code isn't there. Support has not replied for 2 days, did anyone got this sorted out?
