Apparently steam has it and the game seems to run somewhat better with it, can we expect it on GoG?
Near future most possibly.
It will probably be a while considering they released second hotfix as a beta in steam -_- I would like to play this but right now it seems Steam users get the better treatment

Yeah, despite the fact they badmouthed the hell out of Nordic, because their platform made them eligible for this gift only if they bought the franchise pack and not the endless pieces separately. That's steam for you, alright. Spoiled, bad-mannered child-bitches always being given the best candy in the market and still crying after that.

That's because Steam as a platform makes it easier to push quick patches than GOG does.

Steam has an automated system where you basically push a few buttons and BAM, the patch is live.

GOG still uses some manual packaging and testing of the files, so that will naturally take longer.
Well i can wait, i planned to replay the entire series because of the Deathinitive anyway and while i can agree about bashing Nordic for releasing this in a broken state, they should be glad they had a chance to get that remaster for free (as a gift?? That's even fucking better), usually other companies charge for remasters regardless if you already own the first version of the game with all the content.
Nordic games seem to be putting some work into fixing this. They're up to Hotfix 3 beta now:

Great thing that they work on mouse targeting, too. Or else Beliar would be invincible. I won't spoil why, though...
So, no hotfix for us yet?

It sucks because the new edition got me trapped in one of the DLC quests and I can't get out for some reason

Contact support at Nordic's.

We all should. I did.

It doesn't excuse unequal treatment from the developers. I'm so sick of hearing 'GOG has a QA testing department blah blah'. I don't buy my games here to have to wait days to weeks to months or maybe never to have the same version as Steam, just because you apologists think so.
I buy here to support the DRM free revolution, not mediocrity and second-class citizenship.
edit: to blow your stupid reasons out of the water; have a look at how ridiculously fast games like Pillars of Eternity, Wasteland and Divinity: Original Sin get updated on GOG. Those updates are big and small, so don't give me that 'manual packaging/QA testing' bullshit.

edit: sorry everyone. Must have had some grouchy pills hidden in my breakfast... I'll keep the angry rant intact for posterity, though.

No you're absoultely fine, it's unacceptable we have to wait so long, manual packaging or not, the updates at worst should have 2 days delay max, not entire fucking weeks or months. The game on GoG right now is left in an unplayable state (because even if you don't set shadows to max, the game crashes in a lot of different places).
I have this mouse issue in shooter mode!. it is impossible to aim. almost make a full turn, or more, when moving on the horizontal axis, is not my mouse cause i tested whit other ones and it's the same thing.
It has been 2 weeks. Steam users get to play with (most) bugs fixed. Why would we not receive any updates? Even if they want to have one big aggregate patch then I ask what is the point of GoG Galaxy if not for fast updates/fixes of games?

That'd be nice to see.

The "Deathinitive" version here on GOG is terribly buggy still. Owning it here as well as on Steam I decided to install it through their client and give it a shot.

No issues with the Steam version, aside from it being on Steam, while the GOG version is almost unplayable.

I'm working with a GTX980 and a 3.5GHz i7 here, there's no reason for this game to stutter and lag all over the place, or to crash completely every half hour or so.

I appreciate Nordic bringing their games here, and I've repurchased all of them as they became available on GOG, but they REALLY need to keep it updated here as well as there.
