Just as I launched Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition for the first time, I noticed the screen turned completely green while subtitles were racing past (there wasn't any audio playing either). I didn't think much of it because the in-engine stuff (menus, gameplay, in-engine cinematics) worked fine. Then I reached the Crowfather. He opens a portal which is supposedly showing the Tree of Life, but as it was an FMV, it instead displayed the same green screen I witnessed on startup instead of (what I now know was supposed to be) the intro cinematic.

As is recommended by GOG Support when cutscenes aren't displayed properly, I installed RAD Video Tools (considering the FMVs of D2DE are .BIK files). Installing RAD made no difference (as I expected, since GOG Support doesn't specify what to do exactly with the software) and I've looked up if anyone else was experiencing similar issues (which doesn't seem to be the case).

If it's of any help, I'm playing D2DE on a relatively low-powered laptop with an Intel i7 8550U including Intel UHD 620 integrated graphics. I'm playing on low graphical settings at 1280x720.
