I bought Darksiders 2 and after a while when the Deathinitive Edition was released, I received through email a notification for it that it was added to my game list. I'm very happy about it but after I install it, I noticed that the DLCS were not present in the game.

Are you gonna released them too or not ?

Thanks
They remade the loot system. You will get DLC content later in game after Boss fights etc....

Looting System has been redesigned and renovated! Tome no longer gives you items that had been part of DLC content, before! You now have to actually EARN them! Either from beating bosses, or from exploring hard to reach areas! Some of the previously existing DLC items (not all, though) got upgraded, so now they scale with your level (like Abyssal Armor and Beliar's Trident, the only items that did that in the past)! The DLC campaigns can be accessed only through interaction with in-game NPCs. Samael one of them, don't remember the rest, sorry! They even added in the Deathinitive Edition, the 3 inaccessible as of before items, at least for GOG version; Pauldron of the Horseman, reward for playing Darksiders 1, given to you from having 1 Darksiders 1 achievement in steam while playing darksiders 2 (in the Deathinitive Muria in Tri-Stone simply gives it to you), Chaos Fang Scythe, reward for BEATING Darksiders 1, given to you from having the "beating Darksiders 1" achievement in steam while playing darksiders 2 (in the Deathinitive you get it much later, probably in land of the dead) and the Crow Armor set, which had been a timed event from THQ's servers and given to you for a limited time only, now in the Deathinitive, you get it some point later, through exploration.

Rejoice, those items now will have the proper stats and usefulness, when acquired! To see where you get them, see for console item guide: https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/168031-darksiders-ii-deathinitive-edition/72741407/835360645?dismiss=20
