It is now updated at the same level of the steam version?

Gurlok: It is now updated at the same level of the steam version?
Should be. Afaik the only thing missing here compared to the Steam version was a fix for the missing button prompts...

I see, thanks :)
Finally!!! \o/
Time to see if this fixed anything that kept me from re-installing this version again.
I had the Darksiders 2 basic edition from years on my steam account, and when deathinitive edition comes out i had a discount on steam so i got the game there.

Sadly the patch that you are talking about is only a beta patch and there are some big bugs still in the game.
Even this patch provide some new nasy bugs.
Nordic Games told for a lot of time after the releasing of this patch on steam forum that they are still working in bugfixing DS2 deathinit.
but after one or two months they disappeared totally from the steam forum and a whole year it's gone after that.
Lot of people continue to ask support for different issues and they haven't any reply.
To be precise it's been announced a new edition of Darksiders1 in hd but this game is prepared by a different team than the one that was trying to fix ds2 Deathinit.
One of the programmer on twitter told to people asking that Nordic was actually working even now to bring this beta patch to a final version, but after a year no one believe this lie.

The only thing that i suggest you is to go to the steam forum, read about this matter, and stop buying this s**tty game from this s**tty producer (Nordic Games) and please don't buy the new edition of Darksiders 1 when will be released.

i think that a game like that with some sh****y support and impolite and incorrect behaviour from the producer Nordic should be retired from steam and gog, like it was retired the last Batman game, then it was fixed and then it was again uploaded on steam after 6 months.

edit:
if you are curious, in ds2deathinit. still remain 3 major bugs, serious shuttering problems, and vsync totally screwed up function. And here in Gog the pad problem.
Some people fix one or two of this bugs disabling the damage counter, forcing vsync externally (like from the nvidia panel) and disabling it from the options game, but this ins't working with all the configuration and all the graphic drivers.
Basically the game present the same bugs than the original DS2. The worst one is the shuttering and the vsync broken.
Nordic programmers aren't good at programming.

I'm not an angry player, all the steam DS2 community is enraged against Nordic Games to have commercialized a broken product and for the lack of comunication for a whole year and his silence with all the request of support from the final users.
Like you can see you are receiving here the same beta patch released on steam november 18th 2015 after a year XDXDXD Incredible Nordc Games!

I would have gladly paid for the normal version, if it was avaiable, but sadly, it is not. Usually I never buy something on a whim but, since the game was discounted at an insane price (2€), I just bought it nearly one year ago. Kinda disappointed as this game is really good, and generally a great addition to the gog store.

Yes, i see what you are writing @Gurlok even because i really LOVED Ds1. And it was a solid product, almost bugfree.
But the original DS2 wasn't a good product.
Every bug you can find in the Deathinitve edition was a bug present in the original DS2.
The problem was that THQ was going bankrupt and so they prepared a very incredible bad porting of the game from console to pc. They never have success in fixing it. The worst thing was the vsync totally broken. At the time i owned an nvidia 570 TI gtx and every window of the game in my computer was going crazy with 120 fps ALWAYS.
That mean that even if my character was doing nothing in an empty background scene and i was watching the sky, my gpu was going like crazy, at 120 fps/s. Gpu fan was exploding and if i'd choose to play more than 2-3 hours i would had the risk to break my video card.

Now... Nordic Games got the copyrights on the brand after the bankrupt of THQ and decided to take other money from us, the fans, and so they decided to sell again the game but in hd resolutions. It would have been a good idea if they would have fixed the game: and in the beginning they try to fix some bugs, but after a while they disappeared and left the game half fixed and half broken.
When you decide to sell again an existing game broken, you must to fix it or you are making a scam.

Exactly! Can't believe that the game would be so unoptimized and run so bad under 120 fps (mind you, never tried to go past 60, I'm almost fine with it, so I don't know how much pressure could it put hardware-wise).
Sort of OFF topic but, it's just me or does the new "hd graphic" looks more dull than the original? I don't mean texture wise, more likely style wise.

Anyway back on topic, I just hope that they will not screw up the "remaster" of the first one too...

Darksiders Warmastered Edition

- Fixes an issue with Vsync in Darksiders Warmastered Edition.

Please don't buy the new games, the only weapon that we have to force this software house to make a solid patch to dk2 deathinitve is really that.
Ask in the post for a patch, even in the post of the new game.

Well, I already owned ds1 back then so I got warmaster edition for free. Btw, are there still gamebreaking bugs on ds2de? Because I was thinking on playing both remasters, especially the 2.
