DoctorGOGgles: Darksiders Warmastered Edition

Changelog for Patch cs 2343 (19 December 2016)

- Crash on start fix : Game displays a Message box in cases where the steam client fails to provide a save data Api. You need to update steam or reinstall steam to resolve this - or play without saving.
- Abyssal armor was not carried over into a new game if the new game was not started in the same session. Please note : If you have a save with abyssal armor already then load that game, save again and restart the application.
- Screen saver should no longer kick in when playing with some game pads.
- Reticle was small (sometimes close to invisible) in any texture Quality other than highest. This has been fixed.
- EXP between Harvester and Scythe was not correctly transferred, fixed now.
- PS4 controller could not be reconnected after disconnect, fixed now.
- Video player received some cleanup, including a few leaks fixed here and there. Please report if this fixes anything
- Crash when running on a system without Audio output
- It could happen that one could not assign gear, this should be fixed
- Mouse cursor is now automatically hidden after 5 sec when playing with game pad
- Game pad dead zone can now be adjusted (start game, let it save settings, then edit the settings file - gamepad_deadzone under [input] - value is 0 to 1, default 0.35. There is a minimal deadzone built in that you can not remove)
- Some remaining resource leaks were fixed that could lead to crashes when on low memory or switching between modes / resizing the window often.
- VRAM / Memory leak issue fixed that made the game use up all RAM, then crashing.
- Russian voiceovers added
- Settings should now save correctly if Windows user name contains non-ANSI characters
- Crash when corrupt Key mapping was read fixed. We don't know yet how corrupt Key mapping files are written.
- The tutorial text explaining how to throw objects was showing the wrong button for keyboard / mouse users.
- New Feature : Force saved data import

This allows more control over importing saved data from the original game into Darksiders Warmastered Edition saved data.
- Instructions for Force saved data import
- Open the file %appdata%\kaiko\darksiders1\config.ini
- Add the line 'force_save_data_import=true' to the [game] section.
- When starting the game it should now always ask you whether or not to import saved data, given it finds original saved data. Please note that all slots that your original save contains will get overwritten in the WME savedata. You can remove unwanted slots from the original saved data before importing, these files are located in %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Darksiders
Thank you, though I wish the GOG version of Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition patches like Warmastered Edition has been getting...
Many thanks for adding Russian vioceovers. I wish other publishers would give as much attention adding full localizations to remastered games.
- Crash on start fix : Game displays a Message box in cases where the steam client fails to provide a save data Api. You need to update steam or reinstall steam to resolve this - or play without saving.
Did someone just copy/paste the changelog from the Steam release without reading them?

If so, it must have been one from either GOG or the developers as that is the first line of the official changelog (see attached image).

English is the main language in the world. I'd prefer if everyone stuck to it exclusively.

Yes, I actually meant the changelog as shown in the library. That's what brought me here in the first place. I didn't mean to blame anyone here on the forums or a GOG staffer, I merely wanted to point out the error. I'm sorry in case I stepped on someone's toes.

Changelogs for Darksiders 3 patch 1 (v. 1.1) and patch 2 (v. 1.2)

Patch 1 Changelog

Improvements:
- Multiple improvements to help performance and loading. Performance improvements should also significantly reduce stuttering in high-density areas.
- Updated Story mode to be more forgiving.
- Adjusted invulnerability windows across all difficulties. The windows are consistent on Balanced, Challenging and Apocalyptic and even more significant on easy.
- Modified hit indicators for better readability.
- Added version number on the main menu.

Fixes:
- Added FOV scaling to keep correct FOV on 21:9 monitors.
- Fixed various crash issues.
- Added Force Respawn functionality. This option is available in the game options menu. It will kill Fury and return her to the last Vulgrim Waypoint that you visited. This option is a last resort to be used if you think you are stuck in an area for whatever reason.
- Added functionality on Force respawn that will force the hollows to re-equip to Fury. This is for the issue where Fury’s hollow abilities appear to have stopped working.
- Fix for issue where Force blocks were getting stuck in Scar. If you have encountered this issue, it should destroy the stuck block, and if you come back to the area, it will reload the block in the correct starting area.
- Fix for issue where certain stacked breakables wouldn’t break in Bonelands.
- Fix for issue that would break Gluttony fight. Fix should also fix saves that had this issue.
- Fixed multiple issues where players can get Fury into unintended locations or unintended locations without expected Hollows (in some cases Force Respawn may need to be used).
- Reduced Fafnir enhancement’s damage output.

The option can be changed at any point in gameplay options while playing. This has no other effects on difficulty or achievements.
- Improved ledge grab detection on Fury so she can more consistently grab ledges.
- Additional optimizations to help stuttering while streaming.
- Added “Health Lurcher” item to Vulgrim that allows player to purchase refills for Nephilim’s Respite .
- Added “Echo Mark” item to Vulgrim that allows player to refund their spent attribute points.

- Raised the level cap to 200. Also, rebalanced leveling curve post level 80 as well as stat rewards..
