Darksiders 2 Deathinitive edition present 2-3 major bugs and broken v-symc.

The new darksiders 1 for a good 90% of people that owns an Amd processor doesn't works or it works ar 10-12 fps.

Both games or use too much resource from the video card and from cpu (it's the broken v-sync) or lag. It lag if you don't have a top configuration.
Some people are telling that curtscenes in the first game present an audio desync, probably for the v-sync problem on low and medium configuration.
On steam they have already release 2-3 patch for Ds1 remake, but the last one is a beta patch to fix the Amd problem, and it doesn't work. They are making a mess, everyday a patch without testing the materials.

It's a mess.
Ok here some news from Kaiko, on steam, developers of ds1 remake:

They say that they aren't involved in the developement of Ds2 deathinitive, that project was followed from Gunfire. Kaiko helped only to prepare the xbox porting. They say that they haven't any news about ds2 Deathinitive edition.

Some people asked support to Gunfire without receiving any answer, someone think that Gunfire isn't working anymore on fixing Ds2 (maybe it's a good news, they have created only mess) and someone are saying that someone is preparing a new patch, precisely a directx11 patch for Ds2 deathinitive. All the matter it's unclear because there is a lack of comunication from november 2015.

Remember that if you own windows 10 those games will be more heavy and problematic than a user with windows 7.

Do you know which are for 2 de? I remember one famous bug regarding a giant sphere, which could end up being struck, preventing the player from advancing further.
I don't know what to say about gunfire though...I just hope they will fix ds2de, it's an awesome game :/
There are two old bug related to some levels inside the game, i mean that this 2 bugs were even in the main Ds2 game.
Then there is a bug in the crucible that generate crash error. You can fix this bug disabling the damage counter.
Then there is the v-sync bug.
And finally we have some controls problems and resolution issues with some ratio (i don't remember, maybe 21:10?).
And some else that i don't remember.
darksiders warmasteered has been patched on steam a couple of hours ago. except i can't post to tell the devs to post it to gog. ive been trying for over an hour. also, i can't post links on gog to link it to the steam page. it's just in the discissions section of darksiders warmastered

Can I get the new patch offline, because I am getting errors, somehow?
Steam version got a new patch recently, so when can we GOG owners expect it to arrive, or is this going to become like Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition again?

The newest patch (and all of the previous updates) got published today alongside the Steam version. Also, the offline installers have been updated and there is a new patch for the Warmastered Edition: cs 2343.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition

Changelog for Patch cs 2343 (19 December 2016)

- Crash on start fix : Game displays a Message box in cases where the steam client fails to provide a save data Api. You need to update steam or reinstall steam to resolve this - or play without saving.
- Abyssal armor was not carried over into a new game if the new game was not started in the same session. Please note : If you have a save with abyssal armor already then load that game, save again and restart the application.
- Screen saver should no longer kick in when playing with some game pads.
- Reticle was small (sometimes close to invisible) in any texture Quality other than highest. This has been fixed.
- EXP between Harvester and Scythe was not correctly transferred, fixed now.
- PS4 controller could not be reconnected after disconnect, fixed now.
- Video player received some cleanup, including a few leaks fixed here and there. Please report if this fixes anything
- Crash when running on a system without Audio output
- It could happen that one could not assign gear, this should be fixed
- Mouse cursor is now automatically hidden after 5 sec when playing with game pad
- Game pad dead zone can now be adjusted (start game, let it save settings, then edit the settings file - gamepad_deadzone under [input] - value is 0 to 1, default 0.35. There is a minimal deadzone built in that you can not remove)
- Some remaining resource leaks were fixed that could lead to crashes when on low memory or switching between modes / resizing the window often.
- VRAM / Memory leak issue fixed that made the game use up all RAM, then crashing.
- Russian voiceovers added
- Settings should now save correctly if Windows user name contains non-ANSI characters
- Crash when corrupt Key mapping was read fixed. We don't know yet how corrupt Key mapping files are written.
- The tutorial text explaining how to throw objects was showing the wrong button for keyboard / mouse users.
- New Feature : Force saved data import

This allows more control over importing saved data from the original game into Darksiders Warmastered Edition saved data.
- Instructions for Force saved data import
- Open the file %appdata%\kaiko\darksiders1\config.ini
- Add the line 'force_save_data_import=true' to the [game] section.
- When starting the game it should now always ask you whether or not to import saved data, given it finds original saved data. Please note that all slots that your original save contains will get overwritten in the WME savedata. You can remove unwanted slots from the original saved data before importing, these files are located in %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Darksiders

Is anyone else getting a runtime error with the latest Warmastered Edition vCS 2343? It happens every time I try to install the game. Here is a screenshot:

So how does one "double check" the redistributables? Which one does Darksiders need to run? Shouldn't the installer just install it automatically?

The installers don't really come with redistributable but a few of their games come with version 2012. Even then there's no guarantee that it is the correct redistributable

Microsoft's website has around 15 types for 32 bit and another 15 for 64 bit. I install them all.

Gog ideally needs a complete set of redistributable which will work for any/all games.
