For a game like this (and many other games on GOG), widescreen monitors just seem to break down the presentation to a stretched proportion (everything looks fat..). Is their a way to make these games run in a window instead of full screen?

plus I think running the game in windows may solve the funky color problem us Win7 users are having..

I don't know about running it in a window but most video drivers offer an option to maintain the aspect ratio so you end up with black bars on the sides of the screen instead of stretching. Don't know about the color problems (still using xp).

If you download Windows Virtual PC for windows 7, then you can run Dark Reign on it's native windows 98 and have it in a window. :)
