Well, yes, the game runs.

But the famous color issue with old DxDraw based games is present. How do I fix this? NVM: Shortcut had issues closing the windows explorer.

I just did my FOURTH reinstall. After i had installed (as administrator :P) I restarted the computer and everything works flawlessly (without the community-patches that is). Strange thing, as i had all the problems prio to this.

I have also found installing it is an administrator, and opening the game as an administrator helped fix the colour issue. on my win7 64bit. Before when I installed it normally I to had the colour problems

On my main pc with win7 64bit it works flawless from start. On my laptop it has color issues. Maybe installing as the admin will fix it. I will try it and post the results later

Also have Win 7 64bit Pro. Card is nVida GTX560. Installing as Admin and/or running as Admin didn't help. Only killing windows explorer helped.

my solution of the colour Problem, was klicking ESC in the Main Menue - bam Colours are right :D
