Hello!

I'm running Dark Reign 2 on GNU/Linux, through Wine.
It works well, but I have no music playing in-game.
Game options refer to an audio CD, but I've found the music actually is in mp3 files in "Sounds" folder.

Is in-game music playing on a Windows "regular" setup, or is it a global problem?
(I can't try to resolve it without knowing if it is a Linux-specific problem or not)

Hi there, the game is supposed to play the music from a cd, GOG did some tweaking and used the MP3's instead but I'm not sure how they did that. You can use this MOD for DR2 that'll play MP3's http://dr206.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/mp3player.zip.
Doesn't seem to work here.
I can activate the add-on, but with no effect.

Bah, I work around it by playing the music in an outside audio player, controlled by the multimedia keys of my keyboard (that way I am able to pause it during briefings when I'm playing the campaign).

Thank you anyway, that seems to be a great place for mods you've linked here ;)
