After installing Dark Reign 2, I found that upon trying to launch the game, it could not find launcher.exe. When I checked the game install directory, launcher.exe was missing. Is there any way to get launcher.exe into the install? Or should I just remap the shortcut to dr2.exe and do without it, which will entail not being able to do single-player, as I get a CD check error when running from the dr2.exe?

Could it be that your Anti Virus snagged that file during install ?

Maybe try to install again with your AV temporarily disabled.

I can confirm the anti-virus may have removed it. Mine (BitDefender) certainly thought it was infected and deleted it. I had to add an exception to the anti-virus in order to prevent it from doing that. It may be possible to at least try the game by running DR2.exe directly, though I've seen some indications this may ask for the CD, and prevent you from continuing to run the game. I didn't seem to see this, but others have.
