This is a thread based on/straight from my wishlist item here.
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/cyberpunk_2077_wishs_from_everybody_post_your_hopes_and_hopenots_here
Please keep in mind that there are all kinds of feedback throughout the thread, I just tried to organize some really special parts a certain way in the beginning posts. There are MANY other feedbacks throughout the thread not listed in the OP of this thread.

1. PLEASE LET THERE BE DRIFTING. The cars and maybe everything else has to be able to drift. Even the bike. EVERYTHING. Even my character, maybe you can make that happen somehow?

2. TAKE AS LONG AS YOU NEED CDPR! I rather wait several more years for something done right that get it early and missing any tiny bit of magic! -Bit redundant considering already theres a release date...

3. Warn players in game (maybe as an optional feature that can be turned on or off in the settings) when choosing dialogue options or completing quests in a certain way that will lock them out of certain quests/quest lines/ alienate characters from wanting to talk to you. Witcher 3 had this as a major issue and you could do the quests, but just because you didn't do them exactly a certain way or because you used a certain dialogue, you would discover hours and days in real time after the fact that you failed so many different number of quests and/or can never talk to certain characters ever again, basically for no real obvious logical reason at all. This is immersion shattering for me and I hope true freedom of choice actually happens in cyberpunk 2077 because I did not feel like I really had the freedom to choose anything in Witcher 3.

4. True character customization. The more the better! I don't like it when a game offers character customization and you can barely change anything at all. I really want to be able to change EVERYTHING. 100% of all player character attributes like eye color, hair, breast size, muscle tone, just EVERYTHING. True artistic freedom when creating a character with nothing held back is absolutely important to me if I'm going to be enjoying this game because the better I am able to customize my character, the deeper I will feel immersed in the experience.

To me, immersion means that I enjoy the game so much and feel so in touch with the story that the edges of the screen temporarily disappear and I am in a state where I feel like I'm closely watching the character like it's a movie and I care about this character and what happens to them matters to me. Less or not enough customization = feel less deeply connected to the character = care less about overall story = immersion deflates like a cake you take out of the oven too fast or something like that.

5. Don't ignore that cool 80's feel. Yes, it helps to have that in the game. It makes it feel more cyber and more punk. I love the trailer and gameplay teaser so far.

6. Don't lock full body conversion (full robot body) players out of having any sexual ability because I worry about my main character you know? That's just sad, and I want to pre-emptively say "Please avoid this!" There's lot of good technology, no need to say "X is impossible now" Just in case!

7. I want to feel like arnold.

8. I hope there is lots of real fully aware AI (Cybernetic Intelligence) in the game that you can become an ally or enemy to. Maybe help them take over the world. (late game-ish type quest?)

9. AI buddies inside my head/helmet that I can hold really good conversations with and they protect me from viruses and other hack related threats. -Technically confirmed by Johnny Silverhand John Wickyhand Neo Wickhand KEANU REEVES floating in your head or something. Whoa. (I think this is correct from all the videos I've seen, this is what seems to be implied, but please forgive me if I'm wrong)

10. hacking that's actually fun. *watchdogs* (awful!) COUGH*

11. the ability to become THE HERO of the story, like a real super hero.

12. the ability to defeate any character or group in the game if you try hard enough (nobody is invincible and nobody is off limits)

I'll add more comments if I think of anything else but I hope everyone shares their thoughts too! I was inspired to post these wishes here because I watched the trailer for cyberpunk 2077 and the gameplay teaser and I have to say that I'm genuinely really unable to handle how I feel about it, it's just so amazing!

.Maybe being able to recreate arnold as a respectful nod to the T-800?

.Excellent mod support so as to be able to recreate Schrodinger from the anime "Hellsing Ultimate" as my main character if possible?

.Such good character customization that even such a character could possible be created from the start of the game in the character creator in the normal unmodded game?

.Also if the game will go as far as allowing me to customize breast size, I hope we can also control Glute (behind) size and tone as well. I mean, just to get the character just right. No big deal right? I'm not joking around, I really hope the game has this. I want to create a really classy cyborg female character who's got this victorian vibe about her. I have a bunch of different ideas in mind.

.The possibility of being able to constantly change your characters appearance with enough body mods so that you could possibly switch back and forth from ARNOLD T-800 to Schrodinger to Victorian female battle maid cyborg in the game whenever I want?

.A demo for the game before release so we can play the game a little bit?
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/cyberpunk_2077_demo_via_gogcom

Tell me or rather, Gog and CDPR what you think? Share your ideas and add them to mine? Maybe CDPR will say "hmmm not bad, Sure why not?!" to some of our ideas or hopes?

EDIT:

.PLEASE CDPR! do not censor the game in the USA, or at least include options in the settings for those who purchased the game in the USA to allow players to enable all the more adult features so we can get the fullest experience possible. I plan to play the game as true as I possibly can with nothing censored so that I can feel extremely immersed into the game.

.PLEASE CDPR, allow players to eventually fully upgrade themselves if they put in the effort! I love what I have heard so far from the people who were allowed to talk about what they saw from what they were allowed to see (video game youtubers who were allowed limited access to demo related stuff) And I really want to say that I hope that if the player wants it strongly enough, that we're able to fully upgrade ourselves in the game so that we can max out all attributes/perks/abilities or what ever it will be called in the game. I want to be able to get really good with all the different skills. This was a huge issue with games like skyrim, because you could do this giant heavy effort playthrough and put in massive amounts of work and reach a certain point in the playthrough (half way through or somewhere near the end) and realize that the game was simply not going to allow you to unlock and upgrade ALL your skills or traits or upgrades. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing in skyrim, and even witcher 3 suffered from this to some extent.

I plan to spend hours in the character customization screen/ character creator and I really hope that I can keep going back and changing my character again even throughout the entire game whenever I want. (all features, not just a limited selection, I want to have access to changing everything all the time!) so excited for this game!

EDIT:
In a particularly awkward thread about the cover art of cyberpunk 2077 and the whole male/female debating that went on (everybody relax jeeeeez!) User "Yunipuma" actually made a really interesting suggestion to include "Futa" as a character type. I responded that it did technically make sense for Female V to get some.. uhh... "Upgrades" since there are so many body mods out there in cyberpunk 2077.
https://www.gog.com/forum/cyberpunk_2077/why_is_the_female_version_of_v_not_on_the_cover/post26
Uh.. Yea... So.... um.... Could we technically get "CyberFuta" as a character type? Basically you choose Female V in the character creator and choose a... uhh.... bonus option... *cough* OR you could just get the upgrade later on? Who doesn't want to play as CyberFuta right? For those that don't know Futa is basically like a different gender (I think invented by the very classy and cultured and genius Japanese people, God bless them!) There are many different arguments of what actually makes an anatomically correct Futa, but most people agree that the most generalized and standard basic type of Futa gender is essentially 100% female (with nothing missing) and then +additionally the male attributes "down there" as well. This means that Futa are basically both, and have everything that everyone has, all in one. Interesting concept indeed. Please forgive me for having to explain this. I really hope we are able to choose "CyberFuta" as a playable gender option. The easy part is, no real visible changes need to be made since The options will appear as Male V, Female V, and CyberFuta V (CyberFuta V will appear exactly the same as Female V, but may have different options or... abilities?) so it's an extremely minimal effort to have as an option. Of course, Players could always choose Female V and get "upgrades" to become a CyberFuta later. Thanks Yunipuma!

For some reason Quoting in the OP isn't working so I'm just going to post things here.

"Hope there's an option for 1:1 dialog. Hate having to choose a dialog option in a menu for it to mean something completely different when said by the protagonist." -TheSKADRIL

I fully agree with this. This is always an issue for me in every single game that has dialog options I've played in the past. I want a long piece of text before choosing a dialogue option that actually says what my character is actually going to say. I strongly hate the feeling of choosing a dialogue option and thinking I'm choosing the right thing and then my character just starts saying something way different and I have to reload a save because it ruined something important I was trying to do or a mission I was trying to complete. Mass effect 2 and further on had this issue, and often had situations where all three (very few honestly) dialogue options had the main character saying the same thing in a slightly different way, which made it technically "Not a choice"

Edit:

"My wish is for CDPR to make the game they want and ignore any outrage from Twitter and journalists."- udienowplz

I Strongly agree with this. Twitter/Journalists/Reddit/Outrage Mob (Social Justice Warriors) are a group of very radical and extreme people who can never ever be quenched. If you give them one thing they will be offended, but if you give them the complete opposite thing, they will be enraged. They can never be satisfied, They can not be reasoned with, They can not be bargained with. They don't feel pity or remorse, and absolutely will not stop being upset or offended or angry or outraged, WILL NOT STOP coming after you and your reputation and your job and your happiness EVER, even if you give them everything they want, even if you give them the world, it is never enough for them. The only solution is to ignore these vultures, and be the best person you can be and do the right thing no matter how much they complain and try to steer your train off its tracks. Absolutely NEVER LET FEAR RULE YOU AND YOUR CHOICES. GOG/CDPR, MAKE THE BEST GAME ACCORDING TO YOUR PASSION AND YOUR LOVE AND YOUR LIFE MISSION! regardless of religion of any kind, God bless you all.

Make the whole game SCALE correctly. Options to Invert and Uninvert (make normal again) X and Y axis for mouse. I basically want to make sure that Left means left, Right means right, Up means up, and Down means down. I feel very sick when I move my mouse one way, and the screen goes the other way.

Please allow players to hack everything and everyone if they please (way of making money/credits?) Imagine how deep the game would be if you could drive your car up and park in an alley way near a Bank or something, and just start hacking the bank while hiding, trying to not get noticed or caught, just trying to steal as much credits as possible before WOOO WOOO WOOO *red lights* *alarms going off everywhere* OH NO STEP ON IT KEANU! *VROOM!* Just zoom down the street while police drones and other threats trying to take you down, make an insane get away and check your earnings and realize you just pulled a heist of 9 MILLION credits! DUDE NO WAY! Now you gotta lay very low for a while, all these corporate bankers and their guard force are out looking for your blood! Oh noes! Can't spend the money for a while either, since people will notice! Gotta go hide it or launder these cyber credits in another district so you'll be safe, but wait! Some of those gangs heard you made off with BIG cyber money and they try to kill you and steal it before you can reach the cyber safe house! Phew! you made it! that's so cyber.

Can we get even better modding support than any game ever released? Imagine the amount of cool cybermods the modding community would be inspired to make? Imagine all the re-skins alone that people would do? Of course CDPR/Gog are just amazing and will make the vanilla versions so beautiful, so I'm not downplaying that. I just love mods. Wait, that's like what the game is about! Cool!

Edit:
"Third person" -Terralventhe
I hope with good enough mod support that this will be possible. I usually tend to enjoy First Person much more, but I do like the ability to go out into 3rd person so I can see what my character looks like when moving around, but I enjoy first person much much more. If this is an easy thing for Gog/Cdpr to enable (maybe it's already very easily possible? I don't know and I wont assume) I would appreciate it if it could be enabled as an easy switching option so I could go back and forth from First to 3rd person whenever I want (as a character) just like First and 3rd person switching in vehicle mode. I would really like this a lot.

Edit:
FULL comprehensive rebinding AND function creation for ALL keyboard keys/mouse buttons/controller buttons. To see how to Do It Right, look at the .INI files for any UnrealEngine1 game (Unreal, UT99, Deus Ex, Nerf Arena Blast, etc.). ANY key/button the engine can detect can be given ANY function.
(This seems cool if I understand it correctly. I Just pray to God that there is a "reset keybinds to defaults" button in case I reallllly mess something up lol. Maybe we can get the ability to save customized key bindings?)

Include proper mod creation tools, AND make ALL in-game assets available for access for modding. Look at The Elder Scrolls III to see how to Do It Right. In TES III, every single in game asset was available as an individual file.
(I hope that CyberPunk2077 has even better modding than all the elder scrolls games to be totally honest)

Edit:
Main thing for me is i just want a detailed and living open world game along the lines of The Witcher 3, and RDR2, and etc, with the amount of choices, consequences, and depth, of immersive sim games such as Deus Ex, Dishonored, and Vampire Bloodlines. I want the game to feel alive and feel like this is actually a city of the future. I want the game to allow me to complete stuff in any fashion i desire and for the game to acknowledge how i completed stuff like in games such as Deus Ex. That alone sells me on it.

Fun minigames such as the ones we saw in The Witcher games (for example in Witchers case) Gwent, Poker Dice, Arm Wrestling, Fist Fights, etc.

Side quests that are as good if not better than the main quest with some that can have some effects on the main story potentialy.

A solid main storyline that will ask the player some philosophical questions like some of the best Cyberpunk stories out there such as Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Metal Gear Solid, The Matrix, etc whilst being able to let loose and have some fun/silly moments from time to time

100% serious wish/hope, absolutely no sarcasm.
100% Full nudity in the character creation screen, and so much game freedom that if you so choose, you can remove 100% of all character clothing and just literally run around as a naked cyber cyborg all over the city if you want and getting tazed by the cybercops or something. Imagine just riding on the roof of a car with a cyberkatana and cutting motorcycles in half while naked rushing through traffic while Jackie drives the car and yells at you like "PUT SOME CLOTHES ON THAT CULO AND GET BACK INSIDE THE CAR! YOU'RE CRAZY V!" (just like he says in the 40 min gameplay reveal) and all the NPC's are like "UHH WHAT DID I JUST SEE?" While Keanu Reeves (Johnny silverhand) Does a total double facepalm. You could be the NAKED SAMURAI, and your only clothes are your cyber-cloaking cyber-mod that let you occasionally turn invisible. LOL

I understand that the game has a very serious theme, but like others I do hope there is some room for well placed high quality humor, and I hope the game gives you the freedom to really mess around and do weird or funny things if you so choose.

Still continued wish/hopes list
Edit:
(Another one from Fridgeband (me!)
Please Cdpr, try to avoid overdoing the whole "Cyber-psychosis" sickness from getting "too many" body mods and not having enough humanity. I think it's an interesting concept and I know you must stay canon to cyberpunk, but I hope very strongly that I'm able to really mod myself a lot and feel like I don't have limitations. I understand that it has to stop somewhere because the game can only be so so so complex and it needs to fit canon, but I really hope there is a way it can still fit canon, while still allowing me to basically do whatever I want. I want limitless freedom. If there is a way you can achieve this without giving the whole Cdpr team a huge headache, stay within canon, but still leave the player with infinite freedom, I would greatly appreciate that! :) Maybe V is special because of the Keanu Reeves chip, and can handle more cybermods than the usual person before going crazy? Maybe we can as the player decide how much "Cyber-psychosis" we will choose to have/keep or tolerate, and have control over exactly How V handles that, maybe by turning into a monster, or just being a really good person and remaining pure inside regardless of how crazy the cybermods potentially almost make them feel? Like somehow V can stay stable and clear by visiting that relaxation/zen/meditation spa place that Jackie is sitting in during the trailer to help build their "resistance to cyberpsychosis" and become better able to handle more cybermods while still maintaining humanity, like a special bonus that unlocks more carrying capacity for cybermods?
Potentially it can also maybe help to have the ability to HACK YOUR OWN BODY/BRAIN? Maybe V can hack themselves by pulling their wrist wire out and plugging it into THEIR OWN NECK, and if they do a good enough job, unlock more cybermod capacity without going crazy? Maybe also more implants that improve this cybermod capacity ability?
Can we possibly have the ability to try and disguise our very modded bodies by paying a special type of ripper doc to give us a special "outer layer" that makes us appear more human to keep humanity levels good while still being able to add MUCH more mods?

I really hope someone is listening because we really care about all these things a lot! Thank you Gog/Cdpr! :D
