So, I've installed Cuphead on a 5K iMac 2017 using CrossOver. No problem installing and starting up the game, but I keep seeing these weird flashing artifacts and ghosting effect. First time running Cuphead I bumped up resolution to native 5k and the problem went away, second time it didn't work.

Anyone tried this? Any solutions?

Hi mrkbns,

I removed your duplicate thread to prevent the clutter.

I have no experience with using CrossOver, but WineHQ says the game works flawlessly with Wine, especially if you disable DirectX 11:
https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=35835

Check if disabling DirectX 11 in launch parameters would help. Or maybe you could use newer version of Wine, or Wine Staging? You could use PlayOnMac (which is another Wine frontend) to achieve that: https://www.playonmac.com

Of course, this solution is unsupported by GOG, I am answering out of scientific curiosity ;)
