I'm on the level where Sigurd has to race the runner of Elis. How do I beat him? Sigurd is slow in comparison

Ohw, after several tries I despaired of ever beating that runner. Restarted the mission and avoided that task for days, exploring the rest of the map and completing other tasks. But when I tried it again, Sigurd beat the runner in one go and by several metres ...huh? that wasn't so hard at all O_O. Just make sure Sigurd starts running right away, make him take the corners very sharply, running close to the walls, and keep sending him as far as you can see. Good luck!
