GoGloulou974: Hi Clownski_

Sorry to bother, I would like to know if there will be an offline version of the game please? The game is still in version 1.0.

Thanking you in advance,

Bowi_: AFAIK, the offline installer will install Cult of the Lamb Version 1.0.3. Earlier, GOG rejected Cult of the Lamb Version 1.0.10 because it was unplayable for many people including me. This is why there’s no new offline installer.

GOG (and I) are waiting for Devolver Digital and Massive Monster to provide a satisfactory patch.

@JoaoPaulaZA, you should put a link to the conversation. Here it is: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1313140/discussions/0/6117591958727338043

It’s not the first time I read comments from MONZUN... ...

The reply from Sippy was actually refreshing... Now... I would like SOMEONE from Devolver Digital to come to see us, and just say, “Hi!” (Although I understand that, with people like MONZUN, community managers might be afraid to engage with some of us here too.)
Hi Bowi_,

Thanks to you.

I will wait.
I feel a bit sad as I played the 1.0.10 for some minutes when it was available, did a dungeon then remark the rest of the game was all broken. I've reverted to the 1.0.3 but now my second world stays totally broken (the same first miniboss appears over and over so I cannot process the second world, although I almost finisth the rest of the other worlds and achievements).

Now I'm 10h in and I don't know if I have to wait and hope for a patch that will not just correct the game but also my save, or if I will have to replay everything from the beginning. I'm not a mad of multiple runs, so I might just give up the game and download a save with everything unlocked if this ever happens. But yeah, I truly don't know if I should continue playing because the next patch will correct my save, or not because my save is lost.

I don't blame the devs, I mean, I know how hard it could be to find all the bugs as it's part of my daily jobs -- but it's true I've hardly experienced a patch so much broken as the 1.0.10 was. :(
Yeah I just refunded the game as just whining here wont change anything. Maybe gog or the devs improves things if it starts to feel in their profits... Played halfway of the story and the bugs started to be too nuisance, seeing how steam at least gets some patches and gog does not, i will just wait if the game gets fixed by xmas sales or something and maybe try again :|

Still. Thank you, GOG's QA team, for asking Devolver Digital to redo their homeworks. Let's hope this week will be the good one!

Well, let me know. I'm burned out with it already. Not worth my time or effort to keep checking at this point. If they do fix it...I'll pick it back up. Right now though, they can stick it up their backsides. lol I'd rather play Cyberpunk...it works better. I'm tired of hearing the developer brag too about 1 million sales. There must be 1 million dumbasses out there then. I wouldn't be so proud of selling 1 million turds to the gamers. Then again, if people are stupid enough to tolerate it, they deserve their purchase. I, however, am not of a cult mind. You can't convince me to eat a bowl of shit and think it's strawberry ice-cream. I say if they don't fix it, then remove it from GOG entirely as a non-functional title.

Man this is sad. Was really looking forward to this one. Not happy the (offline) GOG releases are behind the Steam releases in general, but thanks Clownski_ for being transparent about the process here.

If you install the game today, the "online" installer will install the same version: 1.0 (which in reality is "1.0.3").

Somehow, small devs like "Stardew Valley"'s manage to use the same numbering system on every single platform, but Devolver Digital couldn't do that either. (That being said, I think they understood because the latest patch that got rollbacked had an accurate version number... kinda...)
