I'm deciding if I should buy this game or not, but as I understand it, not all old games can run well on modern PCs. Does anyone have a set up like mine can tell me if 60fps and max settings can be achieved?

Yes it can.
I have a rx 580 and a ryzen 1800x. The game works perfectly.

Yeah. But I use Linux, so I do not know how fast it runs on Windows. But my laptop (with a Nvidia mx150 GPU) runs Crysis in 30-60 fps on max settings.
