Title pretty much says it all. I have written con_restricted = 0 in the console, yet no commands are working.
I also went ahead and made a system.cfg and placed in the Crysis root folder and wrote all the commands there.
They were never applied.

What commands are you trying to use?
Anything from changing the fov to god mode. I want to swoop past the Onslaught level because I've died numerous of times now.
Certain console commands require the game to be in "devmode". You just add -devmode to the shortcut used to launch the game, then use that "con_restricted 0" command to allow the other commands.

if the shortcut points to
"C:\Games\Crysis\Bin32\Crysis.exe"
change it to
"C:\Games\Crysis\Bin32\Crysis.exe" -devmode

I only remember a handful so did a search and this site seems to have alot of info and lists of commands and more
http://majorslack.com/pc-game-cheats/crysis-cheats-1/

I don't have Crysis installed anymore to test them but here's some of the commands from there...

con_restricted 0 =Full Console Access

r_displayinfo 1 =Display framerate

g_godmode 1 =Godmode

i_noweaponlimit 1 =Carry as many weapons as you like

i_giveallitems =Get all weapons (maybe use i_noweaponlimit first)

ai_ignoreplayer 1 =Enemy ignores you

v_goliathmode 1 =All vehicles become indestructible, including ones you might have to destroy

g_enableautosave 0 =Disable autosave

g_suitspeedmult 1.85 =Changes suit speed mode's speed, 1.85 is the default

g_walkmultiplier 1 =Changes your movement speed, 1 being default

pl_swimbasespeed 4 =Changes swim speed, 4 being default

cl_strengthscale 1 =Changes power of punches, 1 being default

hud_nightvisionconsumption 0 =Infinite Night Vision

pl_falldamage_speedfatal 50 =Velocity at which a falling kills you, default is 13.7

-----------
i_giveitem [weapon name]

Weapon names are case sensitive and will only give you the weapon if you can carry another, unless you've used "i_noweaponlimit 1"

Eg:
i_giveitem SOCOM

SOCOM = Pistol
SCAR = US Assault Rifle
FY71 = KP Assault Rifle
SMG = Submachine Gun
Shotgun = Shotgun
LAW = Missile Launcher
GaussRifle = Gauss Rifle
DSG1 = Sniper Rifle
TACGun
Hurricane = Minigun
AssaultScope = addon scope
SniperScope = addon scope
LAMRifle = addon laser pointer
FragGrenade
SmokeGrenade
FlashbangGrenade
C4
Claymore
AVMine = Anti-vehicle mine

-----------
map [level name]

Loads the map/level

Eg: the following loads the mission/level called Contact
map island

island=Contact
village=Recovery
rescue=Relic
habor=Assault
tank=Onslaught
mine=Awakening
core=Core
ice=Paradise Lost
sphere=Exodus
ascension=Ascension
fleet=Reckoning

Thank you! :)
Well I'm confused about the solution. Since con_restricted 0 and cl_fov (among with half a dozen other tweaks) work just fine without using devmode here.

Only some things require devmode (like try "i_noweaponlimit 1" without it, or check the link) , also con_restricted should = 0 by default but isn't always the case so it's often recommended to set it to 0 anyway, a just incase thing.
You can open the console......then type: dumpcommandsvars and hit enter.
A large TXT file will be created with all commands upon it, look in the main game folder for it. "consolecommandsandvars" works for both Crysis/ Warhead.
It is large tho, how useful most of the commands are..is well, up to you, plenty to tinker with if you feel inclined.

And how I change the shortcut by adding that "-devmode"?! by renaming it?

And before someone starts... no, I NEVER done such thing before in my life! I only use my PC to play games and browse the Internet -- nothing else. YES. I researched in the Internet how to do that, but I don't understood anything. Why I need a "Notepad" to do that? and why in hell is a "Notepad"? how I use it?

These things have been taught in schools for thirty years but here is a free online course with the basics:
https://edu.gcfglobal.org/en/computerbasics/

Notepad is a small program/application for very basic text editing. Typical produce is a small file with a .txt ending. There are many more programs that do the same, more or less.

You do indeed rename the SHORTCUT to add startup variables.

-------
Any specific part of the game (and which game?) you have problems with? Maybe we can give tips and hints.
"Startup variables"?! what that means??? and how I use this "Notepad" to edit the files?

RobouteGuilliman1: ...
Find the shortcut to the game, right click it and choose Properties.

There you should see it pointing to the game in the Target field (it may be called something else if using a different language).

For example the Target field may look something like this...
"C:\Games\Crysis\Bin32\Crysis.exe"

change it to this...
"C:\Games\Crysis\Bin32\Crysis.exe" -devmode

See how the little extra bit is added to the end, that's all you need to do then click Apply. Then use that shortcut to start the game.

If there isn't a shortcut, then create one to "Crysis\Bin32\Crysis.exe" then do what's mentioned above.
ok so i can use cheats in the game but........ after i added em all well not all of em...i went into the game and loaded it but my mini map display and my health and armor display dont show up what must i do????
