If you are installing this DLC on Linux but attempting to use a Microsoft (NTFS, exFAT, FAT32) filesystem (eg you have a shared data drive used for both Windows and Linux), installation will fail. This is because one of the paths is CrossCode/docs/CrossCode: A New Home/ and the character ':' is not supported in the paths of Microsoft filesystems due to it being reserved as a partition / drive designator (eg C:).
Temporary workaround: install game and DLC to a Linux filesystem like ext4. Then install the game to the Microsoft filesystem. Then change the name of the /docs/CrossCode: A New Home folder to /docs/CrossCode A New Home and move the game + DLC from the Linux filesystem to the MS filesystem.
Fix: devs remove the ':' from the path for the Linux DLC installer.
