I played Creatures 3 as a kid, and I've booted it up a few times over the years. I'd like to do another playthrough, but before I start I want to make sure I have everything I need. I already have the offline patch for DS, but are there any other patches out there, official or unofficial, that I should take a look at? I remember there were a few official tools released from the developer back in the day too. Are those still floating around the internet?

As far as I know, you need the remastering patch. You can find it in amber creatures.

Luckily, all of the official tools are still available from Gameware Europe! The only downside is that they moved over the old site, and a lot of broken links still persist. You might want to take a look at A Guide to Navigating the Gameware Europe Sites, which includes working links to everything from informational articles to the official downloads. Indeed, the Remastered Patch is the only one you really need. However, just to be clear, are you using the GOG version of Creatures Exodus? Just want to be sure, since the CD version may require something else. If it is the GOG version, though, you really only need the Remastered Patch and Offline Patch in order to play. Enjoy!
