So, I've been having problems with the Genetics Kit. I installed Creatures 2 into C:/GOG Games/Creatures 2. Then I installed the Genetics Kit and attempted to "Lay egg" using the kit. I kept getting a registry error.

I found that reinstalling Creatures 2 into Program Files (x86) solved the issue. After that I could lay eggs using the genetics kit, but you must leave Creatures 2 running. Also, I still get an error when I click "Lay egg" but the egg DOES appear in game.

SOLUTION: If you download Creatures from GOG, click on the options button before install and try changing the directory to something new.
