I plan to buy this game for my girlfriend, and I would like to know if it's possible to change the game language for french. On the game description it's said that it's in english, but maybe I could be lucky ^^

Damn, you ARE lucky. I installed it just so I could check and, lo and behold, in the settings menu you can switch between quite a few languages.
The only things that are left NOT translated are unit acknowledgements... and the manual (which you REALLY should read before playing, unless you know what you're doing).
Also... Not to question you're judgement, but - why Constructor ? Is your GF already quite a bit into gaming ? Because not only is this a strategy game (of sorts), it's also ridiculously hard. I hope you know what you're doing ;].

To be honest, I really don't know if this game is awfully hard, and I trust you when you say it. But, but , but... it's an old game my GF used to play some years ago, and having it as easilly as this is a (little) dream for her. Ahhh, women.... ;-)

Just remember to eventually describe how it all went ;P. I sincerely hope she doesn't get disapponted...

The game have 6 languages - English (UK), English (US), German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

no way to get italian?
there is for sure an italian version, both pc and psx version, just need to implement...

For future reference: the italian language is hidden in the GOG version, but it's easy to have it
You just need to edit the SYSTEM.ini file, changing TextLanguage=0 to TextLanguage=4
