I have a annoying bug, sometimes in the battles, the games crash and says out of memory. The bad point is, when i have 7 battles, and the games crash on the last one, i need to repeat all 7 battles. And the sad point at this, on so many battles, it can easy crash again and so i have to fight them again and again and again. Till i get lucky and there is no crash.

I try´d it on:

Windows Vista - 64bit
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
Geforce GTX 260
4GB RAM

and:

Windows 7 - 64bit
Intel Core i7 - 3610QM
Geforce GT 630M
6GB RAM

But on all two, i get the same bug. Anyone nows a way to solve this?

This is the DOS memory space simulated by dosbox which is being filled up. Not gigs of modern ram, which is several orders of magnitude higher.

I do not know what type of memory it is exactly (EMS?) but you could try changing the memsize= line in your dosbox config file to 32 or 64 (it is 16 by default and should not usually be changed).

edit.
I should add that you can type mem in the dosbox command prompt and see the values.

* conventional (very old-skool) memory should always be 640 kB max
* upper memory, I do not know...
* extended should be 16 or 32 mB
* expanded should be 16 or 32 mB

To give a first answer, i´m testing it, how good it works. But i need some time to get the native far enough for so many battles. But actual i don´t found the bug, so i hope it will work with more battles too. I delete my old saves for a long time, because they where unplayable with this bug.

I have set memsize to 64.

Edit:

Well i think it works, i don´t get the out of memory again.
