Hey guys and gals,

after seeing that GOG finally patched this game, i decide to give it a try and download it again. Surprise surprise, now they game wont even launch. I get a small black square, and then nothing, just disappears.

I of course tried all windows compatibility tricks available when you click on "properties".

Anybody had any luck with the game? It is a real shame that a store called "good old games" doesnt support the old games they sell.

Works right out of the gate for me. Make sure you've installed DirectX 9.0c manually and enabled DirectPlay (the game's directory has directplay.cmd that can do that for you).

1. The site is no longer called Good Old Games.

2. There is too large a variety in hardware to support and Microsoft doesn't have any quality control on Windows 10 builds so it's all unpredictable. That's something that GOG stresses on many store pages, too.

3. If you don't like the idea of tinkering to get games running, get a console. Oh wait, universal backwards compatibility isn't a thing for consoles either ;)
