For some reason my install of CGenius just doesn't have sound. I can sometimes get a little crackling sound for a few moments after switching between PC Speaker and SoundBlaster mode in-game, but nothing else. CGenius is the only program I'm having this issue with, and I can't find anything on the CGenius forums or bugtracker about this so I really feel like I somehow messed up the install, but as far as I can tell I followed the instructions in the ReadMe to the letter (or as close as I could since I'm on Windows over here). Odd really.

Also on Windows and I had the same problem, so it's not just you. I tried both 2.7.5 and 2.7.6 and neither are giving me sound.

I was finally able to get sound on version 1.6.0, so you might try that. Still can't seem to get the HQ Packs to work for some reason, though that's less of a deal breaker for me.

EDIT: Er, shit, that should be 2.6.0.

EDIT 2: Scratch that bit about the HQ Pack, it was working, but I'd somehow managed to only partially install it...or possibly only partially uninstall the data from an earlier CGenius install attempt or something like that I'm honestly not sure but it's working now that i've done a final clean install of CGenius and everything. My lesson learned here is that if you're on Windows you should be installing game and mod data in your [USER]/Documents/Commander Genius folder. And double check both there and the main CGenius install folder when you're doing a lot of messing around with multiple versions of the program just in case you accidentally don't clear out as much as you thought you did between installs. Also learned that the remastered music for 4 & 5 doesn't play regardless but I'm honestly okay with that. :V

I recently tried it out and had the same problem. I had to go into the sound settings and turn up the volume there before I could hear anything (I think I turned it up to 60 in the menus).
