Hi All,
I used to love this wargame on my old gaming system, but when I upgraded my machine a couple of years ago to Vista with an 8800GTS SLI, I joined the many people unable to play this anymore.
Since the game *did* run in Vista with a DX9 only card (nvidia 7xxx and below, or ATI 2xxx and below), I'm not sure if the GOG version will work in Vista *only* with an older graphics card - which may be why its listed as Vista compatible, or if its been patched to resolve the graphics issues.
So I just want to know if anyone can confirm if it does indeed run within Vista on a DX10 graphics card.
Note to XP users - there was never an issue running the game in Windows XP with a DirectX 10 graphics card - it was only the Vista + DirectX 10 card combination.
Thanks in advance - fingers crossed I can pick this up again - if you're running WIndows XP, its a gem of a wargame and shouldn't be passed by...

Yeah, I'm wondering if GoG included the infamous $5 Vista patch myself. I'll wait to find out before buying.

This game was tested on a MS Vista with NVidia 8800 GTS. And we have not encountered any problems.

Kind Sir, you are mistaken. The infamous patch was released for the game Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin. Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord is fully compatible with Vista.

My mistake, then, and I guess we won't be seeing CM:BB :)
