I saw a beta branch mentioned on ... that other distributor's forums. GOG Galaxy does seem to have some support for beta channels (right now, the game has reference to adding a private channel that wants a password) so I wanted to check if that would be made available here as well, and confirm it will be open.

Most likely that's the beta channel but we haven't looked into it yet so I can't confirm yet.

All such betas will be open to everyone who bought the game, of course, and they won't last longer than 2-3 days at any rate. Basically, it's a safe way to test changes before merging them with the main build and potentially affecting save games.

Just wanted to check, I saw reference to a beta branch being live ... over there. I've never tried to access a beta branch on GOG Galaxy, but you'd indicated it would be possible. Is that something you're still looking into? Should it be available, and I'm just not doing the right things to access it?
