I've played so many times...and I never get the bonus for first to declare. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Re-downloaded again from GOG. Used different start settings. Tried revolting two turns after starting. No joy.

Any ideas?

If you mean the scoring bonus, that's only if you win independence. If you are declaring revolution after two turns you are definitely not winning ;)

heh-- thanks. But I fail the bonus even when I win independence. Is this a known bug?
