I'm constantly getting a random "Program Has Stopped Working" error while playing CC2. Sometimes the game runs fine for a while and sometimes it crashes immediately upon running, at the menu or during gameplay. I tried compatibilitu mldes, running as admin, and disabling sevwral Win 10 features, to no avail. Same issue with stock gog included patch and with 3.4 community patch. Does anyone know what would cause this and if there's a fix?

Anyone?
I'm using it on 2 Win10 machines without issues, have you installed the game in the GOG folder or in another place? Your OS has been updated to the latest version?
UPDATE

Today something strange happened, I've tried running a multiplayer game and every time I choose Connect the game was crashing, I've updated windows 10 to the fall update. Now the multiplayer is working but the campaign crashes at the end of the first mission. I've tried various settings of compatibility and run a test on my brother's system, another Win10 updated to the latest version with all the updates done and even there the campaign crashes so there is something that the latest Windows version has broken

UPDATE 2

I've uninstalled the game and installed it again inside the GOG default path inside the C: drive, and tried three times the first campaign mission without crashing... I will try it on other Win 10 systems and let you know, hope to help others with the same issue.

UPDATE 3

I've tried on 3 different Windows 10 machines all with the latest system updates. If the game is installed on a path different from the default GOG Games path the game crashes unexpectedly at the end of campaign missions. If installed in the default path works beautifully for what I was able to test.
