Hi,

Any suggestions to fix this issue? CC3 will not launch, all the other CC games launch fine. I'm on Windows 10 64bit. I've tried repairing installation, uninstalling and reinstalling, launching in compatibility mode - no luck.

I don't know the only problem I experience is alt-tab crashes.

I'm also running Windows 10 64bit. I think to solve this we need a bit more info.
Which compatibility options did you use?
I have the same proble. Using Win 10 64bit with Windows 95 compatibilty settings and running as admin.
Changing compatibility options DID NOTHING.

This problem can be solved by DISABLING MULTIPLE MONITORS and running from ONE SCREEN ONLY. (Windows-P)

Tested configurations:
Windows 10 64 Bit (latest update)
R7 1700X / i7-6700
Asus Z370 / Asus Z170
32GB DDR4 / 16 GB DDR4
SSD
Dual monitor (1440p, 1024p) / Single monitor (1440p UW)

This solution only works for DOES NOT START problem.
If the above doesn't work - and this is a long shot, but I've got the original release of CC3, when starting it on my machine Win7 I need to open the shortcut twice in quick succession to get it to start up.

Google "Close Combat Windows 10 compatibility". You should find some help in the Matrix Games forums. I tried to add a PDF I made that contains all of the suggestions I found, but GOG.com says the PDF is too big to attach. In particular, check out www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4190969. Although those instructions are for CC The Longest Day, they may work for other versions on Win 10. You'll find advice to activate the Windows 10 legacy setting. In my case, I had to reboot before the legacy settings worked.
