This patch includes a fix for Widescreen Resolutions, support for High Resolutions (up to 4k), and more Resolutions listed in the Video options. The journal is now fixed to work with the High Resolution patch and the game runs on the Glide Renderer as it was supposed to be played.

The installation is very simple. All you have to do is extract all the files from the zip into the Clive Barker's Undying folder. The system.ini that comes with the patch sets the default renderer to Glide and sets the highest video settings for the game so you don't have to do anything.

Note: The FOV is calculated based on your current resolution and shouldn't be altered.

Changelog:
1.11: Fixed audio sliders, fixed 32bit option for 3dfx, added russian version
1.12: Fixed inventory selection not showing, added bigger fonts for higher resolutions

Edit 1: So after some testing I noticed that the game crashes when switching items by pressing 'F' or 'V'. Unfortunately there is no way for me to fix this without the source code for the Engine.dll, so if anyone can provide it please post it here. In the meantime, use the temporary fix from the link under (it also makes all the cutscenes skippable).

This is a temporary fix for the crash above that removes the display that shows how many items you have.
Note: I made it so that all the cutscenes are skippable with this file because of many requests.

Thanks! You posted it just a few days after I started my play through!

Another bug I noticed, the Phoenix eggs explode as soon as I let go of the mouse button. I'm not sure but it could be related to this patch.

I will try to replicate this bug, but from my current testings, it is working perfectly.

Edit: I didn't know what you meant. To fire a pheonix egg you just click mouse1 once, not hold it. If you for whatever reason want it to explode before it hits something, you can press mouse1 while it's in the air.

Yes, that's what I did, clicked it once. I've recorded a video to highlight this, take a look.

As soon as I fire, the egg explodes on my face.

I have updated the temporary patch (not the main one). Redownload it and tell me if it's fixed now.
Hello to all.

GOG Undying won't work for me at all.

I've got original CD bought like 15 years ago and game works flawlessly for me on Windows 10 x64.

My question is:

Does this Widescreen patch works on any version of the game?
Cause, I've loaded game and I can't switch colors to 32-bit.
It stands on 1920x1080 resolution and 16bit colors.

Is that a problem on my side?

No, that's not a problem at all. All resolutions are 32bit, and that's why you can't change the color depth. For some reason it just shows 16bit instead of 32bit.

Hey,

This looks like an unauthorized repack of my patch, which is not cool.

If anyone feels like doing something similar, please do contact me either through the e-mail address listed in the readme.txt file contained in the original patch or here on the forums.

Well this wasn't done for any profit or anything like that, I never said I made this, I just edited some things a put them all together. It's so everyone can play the game with no problems, but I will take this down if you want me to.

"My" doesn't imply I made it. (ex. Your shoes, but you didn't make them). If you are trying to act smart you can leave, otherwise you can provide feedback. I don't see the point of that reply since I'm trying to help people.
Frankly, I don't give much crap who made the patch or not.
All I care about is if it works or not, and yeah, it seems to work.

Now, I will agree that saying 'My patch' in the other thread, was a misstep.
But whatever really.
