Trying to get Undying to run. The best I can do is get to the menu before it drops to desktop. I have installed the DirectX 2010, turned off NVidia sharing, installed up to the 1.2 Widescreen patch. Ran in Admin mode, but it cannot get past the menu with no mouse. Usually just drops to desktop with no error. In safe mode I can get the mouse with the menu before it drops to desktop with General Protection Fault. Tried Direct3d, DirectX 11, 3dFx and glide. Any further suggestions? Thanks

You may want to try using dgVoodoo2 as a graphics API wrapper.

Installation instructions:
- Download the latest release from here and extract the archive;
- Enter the MS\x86 directory and then copy the D3D8.dll, D3DImm.dll and DDraw.dll files;
- Paste these files into the game installation folder (where the game executable is);
- (OPTIONAL) Run the included dgVoodooCpl program in order to configure the wrapper's settings.

Thank you but it still is acting the same way.

Maybe it's because of audio? Does the game run if you only disable audio in safe mode options?
In System.ini under [Galaxy.GalaxyAudioSubsystem] set Use3dHardware to False.
You can also try undying renewal which uses vulkan.

Thanks for that hint, Using Undying renewal helps to avoid the drop to desktop and get the game running with Vulkan, Was able to play fine, using Lutris on Linux. Should be similar on Windows I guess, good luck
