Just wanted to ask if the Map Editor is included with the game (available in Steam version as a separate DLC)?

Hey,

The map editor its not included in the GOG version.

The editor is linked to Steamworks and my partner who does the programming is trying to see if he can also adapt it for GOG.

Thanks for the info.
I was thinking about buying because I like the concept, but upon noticing that the map editor was missing - which of course is always a cool addition - I didn't proceed with the checkout.

There were a few games in the past that never migrated level editor capabitilies to GOG due to Steamworks before, so understandably one get's wary of this kind of integration.

Here's hope you'll find a solution - you appear to be listening to your player base from what I've seen and read.
Regardless of the outcome, thank you for supporting DRM-free gaming.

That`s ok, sales are not critical for us. They only cover costs for future possible updates, not past work.

Glad I could help with the info.

Well, seeing the game was realeased on Steam 8 months ago before it was released here on GOG, without the map editor... IMHO, 8 months is more than enough to adapt the Map editor to be available on GOG.

See, for example, Several Steel. The map editor works on SteamWorks and also saving the map file on your windows.
Sumple, isn't it?

Hey Cananas,

Our game is made in a custom-made engine, adapting stuff is a lot harder than it seems.

Also, the map editor is a total bonus, it does not bring any change to the base game, Do you think that players who genuinely like this game will not fully enjoy it because it lacks a map editor?

Hello!
Yes , you are absolutely right, the only trouble is that steam has 32bit version , GOG has 64... So , when i just migrate import maps from original version it has error. I will surely fix that.
And migrating doesn't takes 8 month. It takes about 4 days of my work. Usually there are other reasons for schedules.

After some work, we managed to have the Editor available on GOG starting today.
