When you install or deinstall a program, it is normal that you need to do that as administrator, but the need of administartor rights to play a game is an absolutely no-go!

I run this game under windows 7 professional and change it after installing like this:
1. Open the context menu for the launcher (mouse 2 / right-click),
2. Open the compatibility tab.
3. At the bottom theres a button to change the settings here , by using the administartor account, click it and type in the admin passphrase.
4. Uncheck the box "Run as administrator" and click "Apply" and then "Ok".

Now you can run the game without administrator rights.

@gog: you should edit your installer for this game, so users do not have to go throught such procedere.

That's lazy people who install everything in c:\program files and games that save any files (configuration, savegames, cache, swap files) in the game directory.

But yes, I agree, there were several topics in the past about games which behave like that, one I started myself :)

Nah.. that's GNU/Linux power-users, who get distracted and fucked up by windumbs shitty behaviour of handling things.
