I am curious if there is any walkthrough for the adventure part of this game? Gamefaqs does not have it, and I also cannot find it anywhere else.

The game is very scripted. It's important to make sure you do all you have been told to do otherwise you may stuck at some scenarios...good luck.

Currently I'm "stuck" at the Caesar's Coliseum mission. I have no clue how to use the Celts to beat the Romans. Any tips? I studied the manual and tried to get a leg up on the different unit types but my guys go single file to their death!

Good to see there are other people that actually care about this game, this forum seems so dead.

It's been a long time since i played the campaign...the roman troops are very strong. Every unit has a counterpart...

- Horsemen should be used against the Liberati
- Norman chiefs should be used against the princeps
- axemen against horsmen
- swordsmen with archers against all except horsmen and liberati
- amazons against wounded troops
- pikemen against legionnairs and archers.

Thanks for the tips yo! I figured that from reading the manual, but was hoping that there was some kind of absolute sequence to survive it. I guess for the most part I just have to cross my fingers and hope they don't do something stupid.

Oh , so the Haemimont forums got hacked . How horrible . I had wondered for so long why the forums didn't open up any more . I had played the adventure long ago and the forums had been a great help . Isn't there any way to retrieve those posts ?

Anyway , I wanted to play again once I had forgotten the story . And forgotten I have .

I'm in the 4th mission I think . The one where we have to go to the Heart of the Mountain so Lleldoryn can learn his druid stuff . And now I need to conquer a Gaul stronghold and defeat a Teuton camp . I get about 60 or so men from various places(Larax is level 30) , but each time I go attack the teuton camp , my forces get wiped out and I then have to go collect troops again . I think it was easier last time I played and I think the ally team joins me once I defeat the Teuton camp to help take over the stronghold . Is that so or did my memory get mixed up ?

OK, so everyone keeps saying how the Roman campaign is way better than the Celtic one - and I get it, the first mission is huge and quite interesting. HOWEVER, I've played it countless times over and over again - and I can't seem to pass the ending.

The battle is far too difficult. I've built the largest conceivable army, with a huge variation of units and beyond any hope of feeding them all. Even in that scenario, I lost. This one time I fled leaving my huge doomstack destroyed (as well as the hypnotic troops waiting) and used my available resources in an attempt to rebuild an army and fight back. However, I can't rebuild a large force because they rather quickly retake both of the two villages and press onto my town. And then I get wiped out and they take it too.

How on earth am I supposed to defeat the Celts? I've tried massively using poisonous clouds using a large number of priests; to no avail. I think I've triet literally every strategy attempting to wipe out their force or push into their fortified town...

P. S. Just to note, I'm an experienced player (to a level), so I'm not a noob. I've gotten the Celtic campaign to the mission where I have got to prevent the Romans from acquiring food.

I am at the scenario where Caesar got poisoned and have to take him to meet someone. That part is easy but in the hindsight Lleldoryn keeps dying either by the troops or the towers. Any advice how to clear that.

I am also stuck at the mission where i have to stop the Roman from Collecting 100000 food. Any one here already completed this Quest.

I conquer all the buildings but when i kill the last Roman i got message of game lost. strange.

In this scenario I used the Fountain water and herbs to heal them while they gonna die. you can play the old save game and start back with healing items that's how i cleared this scenario. or you can try the invisibility spell for a while.

Hmmm. Strange. It should be OK; that did not happen to me. You have to fight the roman reinforcements in the end, I think.
