I can check the world map just fine but I can't exit it so I can only play this game if I never look at the world map. Is this keymap not in the settings or am I blind?

EDIT: It's the "go up" and "go down" shortcuts.

I am having similar problems, only I am using a US keyboard on a non-US Macbook. There are other keys which seem to fail in this setup too.

You could try the "prerelease input manager" in control options; it's still a bit of a work in progress but it should work much better with non us keyboards and other input devices like gamepads.
