I bought Max Damage a few weeks ago and I've been running it from the offline installer ever since, without multiplayer access.

Today I installed GOG Galaxy and ran the game from there so I could connect to multiplayer games, but my saves were no longer there.

I still have a copy of the save file, but copying it again to "Documents\Carmageddon Max Damage" doesn't change anything, even though the contents of the file are correct. I guess normal (not offline) saves are stored somewhere else?

you could just run it normally and not through galaxy. what cars is available is based on the host`s progress and not the client`s progress. just find a game where the host have enabled all cars.

This just happened to me today. Had Max Damage already installed, imported the folder with GOG Galaxy (knowing I had my save file copied and backed up so it should be fine), but now all my saved progress is gone. I tried putting my old save file back into that save location EduardoLdP mentioned (which is where I copied it from in the first place), but it had no effect - I still have no save progress at all when I run the game.

I really want to go back and much around with all the vehicles I unlocked but now I can't. This is quite frustrating.

If anyone has a solution, please post.
