Is this the first game or the second game?

Does anything save, like level progress? If not, I'm guessing you've installed into Program Files and the save file cannot be created. If that is the case, either run as administrator or install it somewhere else, like C:\Games\... so that the UAC and DEP protection doesn't get in the way of the save game creation.

This is the first game and i have installed it in a custom folder ..c:\games\ , the only thing i can imagine is that i may reach levels objectives , for example to complete the track 's all checkpoints or to kill all pedestrians but this doesn't make any sense .. The time runs out and then i get a funny video with my driver throwing his helmet away and the helmet returns and hit him back.. but after this no advancement in anything .. i can save my game in a slot proper though ..

Ah, yeah, you have to complete a level to progress, and you can do this any of three ways.

1) Pass all checkpoints on all the laps.
2) Waste all opponents.
3) Kill all pedestrians.

If you fail to do one of the above and the time runs out you lose, so won't make any progress and you'll have to retry that level.

That saved me from a headache as in the manual doesn't mention that , it says play as you want to .. that will be a bit tricky now ..
