As I love this game and love GoG but own the infamously buggy Steam release, prior to purchasing this apparently fixed version could the fixes made in this version be made clear? This way the purchase decision becomes simple both for me and anyone else on the fence.

Also, please don't come in here complaining about it's only $5 (a very affordable price), that is not what this thread is about.
According to the footnote in the release thread, "This version includes various small fixes, including: proper V-sync functionality, a fix for the triangle raindrops on AMD cards, and a custom-made fix provided by user Guzz, which allows the invisible sorcerers on the reef to appear properly, plus restores skybox rendering." I'm assuming these are *some* of the fixes, not all? The GOG version doesn't seem to have a changelog, thus far.
Thanks groze, just saw the release thread myself. It would be good to have this information on the game page itself, it is a major selling point.

Here's a link to the release thread for the curious:

It is implied that there are additional fixes. I can't be sure if this is poor wording or withholding information.
Guzz YOU ARE A F***ING LEGEND!

A full list of applied fixes would be most appreciated. ^_^

Agreed. I've been eyeing Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth for a long time but the game breaking bugs found in earlier PC releases have kept me away from it.

If the GOG release has patched those out then in my opinion $5 is an amazing deal.
