E ae pessoal
Alguém tem alguma tradução do Caesar IV para o português?
Valeu
There was apparently no official (Brazilian) Portuguese version of the game (according to available patch executables for different languages).
You sure? It existed for Caesar III...

Sei não!
Most companies did not care about translating games to Portuguese in the "olden days". There were plenty of amateur translations done by volunteers, in the same vein that you had translation of subtitles for movies and TV shows. Nowadays many indie companies use volunteer translations to translate their games.

Anyways, the hub of volunteer games translation in Brazil have always been gamevicio. There you will find hundreds, if not thousands of translations for games.

Antigamente, eram muito poucas as empresas que se preocupavam em traduzir jogo para português. Quase todas as traduções de jogos para PT-BR era feita de maneira amadora. A central era o site gamevicio.com . Especificamente, o jogo Caesar IV teve sua tradução feita por voluntários e lançada em 9 anos atrás.

The thing is that THERE WAS an official translation (with dubs) of this game. It is really sad that it was lost with the time, the company doesn't exist anymore. There is a guy that had the original CD and copied the files from the original CD. Remember, that was an original translation of the game, not by fans. Is there a way to add this to the game here at GOG? Or only downloading and copying the files in the installation folder?

The Impressions series are one of these series that is a pity the do not supprt translations in GOG. Because originally it was fully voiced and translated in other languages than english like the AAA series of games they were. And at difference of others games they were pretty/relatively good.

One of the sad things is that although you can manually use the original files to translate the games, due to the way they made them to work the fonts in other languages are glitchy with wrong accents or symbols etc. Sotheting related with the differents exes, I guess.

I believe that is not true in Emperor and probably the text and voice can be changed and the game shows the fonts in a correct way. at least in spanish.

Greetings
