So I dunno if anyone has done this before so I apologise if this has been discussed in the past. Alsos this can also work for other ScummVM games.

You obviously can't set the resolution in the game at all but there is a way to make the picture sharper and clearer and even scaling the image to fill your screen. Here's how.

1. Make sure you set ScummVM to OpenGL in the video settings.
2. Download Reshade from here (reshade.me) without brackets of course.
3. Open the reshade setup file
4. It'll ask you to install it to a game. Pick "Select Game to install to or uninstall from" and a window will pop up
5. Navigate it to the ScummVM folder (Should be in the Broken Sword's installation folder or whatever other version you have installed is fine too)
6. Pick the scummvm.exe file and click Open
7. Select OpenGL
8. It will then ask if you want to download some standard effects. Pick Yes.
9. Pick "Uncheck All" and then manually tick these specific effects (Adaptive Sharpen, Aspect Ratio, Clarity and LumaSharpen)
10. Click OK and close Reshade
11.Now go here and download this awesome preset by Jak1up (nexusmods.com/metro2033redux/mods/2) Yeah I know it was made for Metro 2033 Redux but its amazing for sharpening up blurry games. I'm currently using it for Dishonored 1 n its awesome!
12. Once you downloaded the &z file. Extract it using WinRar or whatever other program you use to extract stuff and extract it to the root of the ScummVM folder (where the scmmvm.exe file is)

Next up is to boot the game with ScummVM. Dont boot the game directly or with the shortcut provided by the GOG installer. You have to start ScummVM itself first. If you followed the steps correctly then you should see a message at the top telling you thaat reshade was installed successfully.

Once that is done, boot up Broken Sword from within ScummVM. Once the game is loaded up, press the Home button on your keyboard to bring up Reshade. Ignore all the little messages and press continue on all of them. Look at the top of the reshade window and click the dro down window. you should then see a list of ini files to select. Choose Sharp & Clear Reshade settings.ini

The game will instantly look clear as hell now. If you want to scale the image so it fits our TV\Monitor screen then clcik on Aspect Ratio in Reshade's menu and adjust the Scale image slider to your liking. It will look a little blurrier than the game standard size but its still way clearer than its vanilla state.

Once that is done, press Home again and have fun!

**Note**
Scaling the image is basically zooming in so it will affect SummVM too.

This isn't working for me. ReShade says that it has installed correctly but I don't get a message saying so, or see it in the terminal that opens with scummvm and pressing the home button does nothing once ScummVm is loaded.
Does not work for me, the only filter that appears is LuaSharpen.
Apparently the used Reshade Verson is outdated. Adaptive Sharpen I only have when I select Legacy Filter, but I don't find Aspect Ratio or Clarity.
Which version of Reshade did you use?
