Hello,
does anybody know how or if multiplayer via internet or LAN works with this version?
read in the steam forum that multiplayer is via steam servers.

Thanks a lot if someone knows the answer.

It lists games to join at least. Currently I only see games running on older builds though, so I can't join.
good question! Additionally would be great to know if multiplayer
- is strictly between GOG players (could you play together with someone who is running the steam version) ?
- is limited between same-platform clients (can you play with some friend running the OSX/linux version of Broforce) ?

thank you!
I too am interested in if this game has LAN support (without galaxy).
Does the online multiplayer require Galaxy?

Edit: Doesn't seem like it. Read this: http://steamcommunity.com/app/274190/discussions/0/351659808475222884/

If that's correct, it means the gog version of Broforce is actually ahead of the Steam version. I think it might be a sign of the apocalypse. :P

That would explain why you can't connect to some lobbies like I was having trouble doing.

Hey, going to update the steam and humble builds tonight
It seems they haven't been updated - there's still the 'version mismatch' problem and my friend using the steam version has the same thing (but where I have 'older version' he has the opposite, obviously).

Will it be fixed anytime soon? You can only refund if you have less than 2 hours of playtime on steam so he doesn't even know if he should do it now, or if there's any point in waiting for the steam update/fix.
The Gog version is in fact the most recent version. Nekropants didn't manage to upload before heading overseas. We're bringing the 4 July update to steam within the next week so both humble and GOG will be updated shortly after. If all platforms are running the same build, there shouldn't be a problem playing across multiple platforms. Same goes for Linux, Mac and Win cross overs.

Might be kinda OT but where's that sale on GOG that's supposed to be happening right now? :P

hey, a little late to the convo but did anybody ever figure out if you can cross play and if so how to find friends? my buddy bought it through steam been trying to play together with no luck.
I want to ask if the Multiplayer works between GOG users. We are about to get Broforce for multiplayer only but after a reading a few posts I'm not sure the GOG version works properly (maybe it was because of an old build). Can someone confirm that GOG version has multiplayer online (specially the Linux version)?

Thanks!
