jaybusch: Just tagging in for anyone that might be using Linux: You'll have to forcibly override ddraw using native, because ddraw is under a list of "not to be overridden" libraries so dxcfg will never really take effect otherwise. Using that, and after downloading hotfix2, force point sampling works great and the seams are basically hidden entirely. Still a few other platform-specific foibles, like FMVs as the biggest one I can think of, but otherwise game runs fine on Linux.
I've tried a few different ways to do this with no luck. Hope you're gonna see this and hopefully elaborate a bit on how you got it to work. What I've done so far:

Lutris > Wine Configuration > Libraries > Added ddrawex > Tried the different settings for this library to no avail.
(The Direct X settings for the game is set to Point Sampling and Integer Scaling.
