It would be more fun for me if the mage was white, since I'm white and I like to imagine myself as the character I'm playing. Before someone complains that I'm a racist, the request is for me to be able to play as a white mage, that's all. Thank you.

Why do you feel the need to insult my intelligence for requesting that I be able to play as a white mage? That's sort of a wierd jump to make. Is it your opinion that nobody should be able to play as a white mage or is it something different? You'll notice here that I'm not hurling insults at you, just trying to understand your point of view. I want to play the game as a straight white male magic user. There I said it. What a crazy world we live in when something as innocent and harmless as that is labeled as bigotry. Where's the bigotry?

Please forgive me. I seem to have some strong prejudice against racist people and my post was rude.
Let me rewrite it in a non offensive manner:

Mages have amazing magical powers and spellcasting abilities, things that you don't have IRL, so it's difficult to identify yourself with one...
Having that in mind, don't pay attention to other menial differences (like eumelanin levels of the character) and just enjoy the game.

In Diablo Mage was black person so i was always playing female archer or white fighter, and as this game is based on D1 mage is black too.

This game is racist against White people and so are you. You are the racist.

I heavily disagree with the tone here, but it's not unreasonalbe to get ALL classes/characters customisable with a palette of skin-colour.
