I recently installed Bloodnet, but when I run the game, it gets stuck on the Microprose logo. I know the logo is supposed to zoom in, and then "melt" to reveal an image of a bat, but for me, the logo just appears and then freezes in place. The sound continues, however.

I'm trying to play the game on Windows 7. Could that have something to do with it? I've tried everything I can, and I still can't get the image to unfreeze.

Please help!
Have you tried both CD and floppy versions?
The only thing that immediately comes to mind is to try out different sound settings (e.g. disabling both music and fx) using the setup.exe in the game directory.

I'd mess around with the Graphic Mode Setup, then try contacting Support. The game should just be running via DOSBox so there's probably an easy fix.

I messed around with the graphics a bit, and finally found a particular configuration that works! Thanks for the suggestion - I had pretty much forgotten about this game since I couldn't get it to work before. Thanks! :)

I'd be interested to know which settings you changed, for future reference. There doesn't appear to be a "Graphics Mode Setup" on mac that I can find so one would have to tweak with the dosbox preferences file directly.
